Take You

Megan came over to visit me this week!
It's always so nice seeing my childhood bestie! We're able to talk about anything and catch each other up on everything even though we haven't seen each other in weeks!

We had a three hour conversation together while eating Nutella!

Afterwards we visited one of my favourite parks to take some cute photos together!!! :-)

The new gorilla tripod I bought this year has actually made our life so much easier for photos!@#$ :-)

Time always flies by so quickly when we hang together! Why oh why!!!

Before we knew it, we were hungry again! :-)

We had to bike up this huge hill (I'm not kidding, Megan had to walk the bike up the hill! Haha!) to get home to prepare dinner! It was so worth it though!!!

I'm sure you all know how much I my mac and cheese!!! This is like my summer food staple! :-)

Afterwards, we had dessert! At first, I thought we were going to have a nice simple ice cream sandwich...

but it became more like an amped up ice cream sandwich!

Thanks for an amazing day girlie!!! :-* ♥
You're always, always welcomed here! My grandma loves yaaa!

Last Days of Co-op

I made surprise visits to see my little co-op kids this week! I knew I had two months for myself this summer and I only had one more week to see these adorable faces, which meant I had to visit them soon!!!

I was so overwhelmed with joy when I saw their faces light up while running to me and screaming my name in their high voices!!! Too. Much. Cuteness. To. Handle!!!

Yesterday was their last day of school and I promised I would be there one last time! I surprised them with my homemade chocolate chip cookies!!!

It was my first time baking my own homemade chocolate chip cookies! The kids loved these chewy cookies and asked for more!!! Success, woO!!! :-)

Our last few days together were fun and memorable! I played "walking" tag with them after I told them I couldn't run in my flats. Their definition of walking is the same as running!!! The fire department also visited with their fire truck for them to explore!!! :-)

They made me so happy during my time there! I definitely played, laughed and grew! I would like to say thank you to Lijana, the school and the kids for giving me this amazing oppourtunity!!!

Lana's 17th Birthday

I picked up a few macarons from Cake Opera Co. with Joycelyn this week! These never cease to amaze me!!! :-)

Afterwards, we both walked to a nearby Yogurty's for some froyo! I sorta have a thing for popping boba. They're so cute and squishy!!! That didn't quite fill us up so we stopped by Starbucks for some of their paninis!

It's always so nice to catch up and see Joy! I actually went to Cake Opera Co. to purchase macarons for my friend Lana! :-)

She said she never tried them before and I remember the time I posted a photo of my box of macarons on Twitter and I remember her comment!

Yesterday was Lana's birthday celebration

and we had a pit stop at McDonalds before we went to...

I can't remember the last time I came here! All I remember was that I sucked at this game! I have horrible hand eye coordination so I gave everyone a heads up that I was going to be last - that didn't stop them from shooting me though!!! Hahaha

We got a good deal and got to play three games that evening! For the first round, I got 17th place (YA, I KNOW.) out of our group of friends and then I somehow magically regained myself and went up to 3rd place!!! (OH BABY!) Here's my secret: I just camped in the corner and held the trigger down. I just aimed whatever flashing light I saw and that actually worked!!! :-)

My friends came up with clever and cool names, like - error, low battery, Lana, freckles and hawk eye...

while I came up with names like - piglet, minnie mouse and LOL :) ! Hahaha :-)

Between our games we had time to cut Lana's lovely birthday cake that Lauren made!

Even though I bake often, I never tried cake fondant before until yesterday!

Thanks for inviting me Lana! :-* I hope you had a memorable time and enjoyed the macarons as much as I do!

Last Days of Grade 11

After Jess and I wrote our last exam of the year yesterday, we had to have a celebration together! We decided to go to Yorkdale and have our celebratory dinner! We walked around, bought gelato & bubble tea (of course!),

and shopped! I'm going to be a shopaholic. I just know it!!!

I've been looking for a nice pair of lace shorts and I found one at Zara but I didn't purchase it. When I walked out the change room and gave it to the assistance, a customer asked me where I found them in the store and told me it looked great on me. I'm actually so indecisive, I'm still considering! Haha :-)

After we shopped, we had dinner at Moxies!

They forgot to put cheddar cheese on our appetizer and quickly took it back to put it on! Cheese or chocolate makes anything better!

Jess and I both ordered their burgers! She's actually been anticipating for this burger all day and recommended that i tried it! Hahaha :-)

The way they cooked their beef was nothing like I tried before! If you're a fan of basil pesto, you'll enjoy their Mediterranean burger fo sho!

We decided it was our night to indulge since we deserved it after all of our hardwork! :-)

The night couldn't have ended better without...
the white chocolate brownie!

I can't tell you how good it is. The warm and moist brownie with the sweet vanilla ice cream and drizzled in chocolate syrup. Oh gosh!

Here's my outfit for the day: Dress - Talula, Bag - Gucci, Flats - Jeffrey Campbell
In the Topshop bag, I purchased a new bathing suit! I'm so in love!!!

Thanks for finding it and watching me try it on Jess
and thanks for starting the summer with me! :-*

____________________________

Today i spent the day with my friend Safia! She had her last day of exams today and she wanted to spend it with me! Hehehe :-) I've learned so many things about her today and she actually has the best memory! I don't think I've ever met anyone who remembered the boring little details about me! :-)

Check out the massive collage on her bedroom wall! She's actually so sentimental and kept everything I gave her this year!

Her little hamster is so pudgy and cutesy!!! :-)

We went to Sherway today with no plans in mind at all! I actually enjoy things unplanned and unexpected! We walked around the mall like five times, chatted, shopped and ate! She is actually my long lost food soulmate! We both have an obsession with KD's mac & cheese, multi flavoured slushie from the gas station, spicy california roll, mango bubble tea with tapioca, manchu wok and more!!!

She let me choose all the food we would eat today since she knew we had the same taste! She questioned me when I put barbecue sauce in our Subway sub but she fell in love with it after! Haha! :-)

We also have a love for Yogen Fruz!
Thanks for a super fun day Saffie!!! :* ♥ I also bought new ballerinas today! They're so comfortable and simple, I love it! Bye bye Jeffrey Campbell! :-)

I can't believe it's that time of year again. This summer will be worthwhile.
