My First Shawarma

Megan and I hung out a few weeks ago at my house and talked about having a shopping spree and dinner together! The plan finally happened yesterday!! :-)

When I met up with her, both of our jaws literally dropped! We coincidentally wore similar outfits! She thought I would wear a dress and I thought I would too! Hahaha :-) I decided to wear shorts since I knew it would be easier to try on tops. :-) "It's okay, the one who wears the outfit better is the one who is always smiling and that's you!" @!%*&^#% She's always so sweet, ugh!

We didn't know where to have dinner after we shopped and decided to go into any restaurant that caught our eye, which was Paramount Finefoods! I looked at the menu and I asked her, "What's a shawarma?" She responded, "Oh my god, you never had a shawarma before? You're having that, okay!" I still can't believe I went to Lawrence Heights and never tried a shawarma! Hahaha

It was too bad that the shawarma didn't meet our expectations - it was too sour! We decided to make up for it by finding something sweet afterwards!

We were considering of buying candy apples but she didn't want me to endure those since I have braces. we promised we'll treat ourselves to these as soon as I get them off! Hehehe :-)

We went to Marble Slab instead and I didn't mind going again since I was able to get another stamp for my card! Hahaha :-) T
hanks for a very fun day girlie!!! :-*

Oh! here are the stuff i bought! :-) I got those sweet shorts for 50% off @ Aritzia!

Teen Wolf Addict

This week was filled with good eats and good shows!
Since I didn't stay at Linda's this week, I had time to catch up on Teen Wolf! I heard so many great reviews from my friends and family that I had to see what it was all about! The show is addicting and there's never a dull moment, which is good considering I have a really short attention span!!! :-) Besides watching shows, I ate lots of tasty dishes like,
the Mad Italian's Tuscan Tuna Pizza Cone,
(I really enjoyed these with Joycelyn but they kind of stuffed mine with a looot of red beans!)

Petite Thuet's macarons,

(I tried their mint chocolate and cookies and cream! I'm sure these are one of the biggest macarons I've tried so far. They're really soft and sweet!!!)

Jack Astor's Parmesan Chicken with Bowties

and their Lobster and Crab Dip,

Eggspectation's Eggstravaganza,
(It was actually my first time trying french toast and I loved it!!! Better late than never right? :-))

and Marble Slab's mango ice cream with lychee pearls
(The lychee pearls were like popping bobas!!!)!

The week ended with hanging out with my best friend and seeing a free show from Fefe Dobson!

There's only 8 more days until I see Frank Ocean perform live!!!

Linda's Home: Five

There were many things that made me smile this week
at my cousin's house like capturing the boys' angry faces,

accidentally capturing Alexis' boogers drooping,

watching Ethan at his karate lessons,

seeing a rainbow after a heavy rainstorm,

feeding mango to the neighbour's new bunny,

watching Linda give baby Eli a shower,

having Ethan to finally smile at the camera,

finding the baldspot Eli gave himself with a razor...

the boys behaving while Linda and I shop,

baking carrot cupcakes,
(Ethan wanted the chocolate chips)

having the boys loving them

(even though the first batch didn't turn out that great),

attending Ethan's soccer practices,

seeing how happy Eli was after he gave other kids snacks,

watching Linda chase Eli around on the soccer field,

seeing my little man score a goal for the team,

being there when his daddy told him how proud of how he played that day,

seeing my last tray of carrot cupcakes turning out better,

finding a corn pop that Ethan stuck on one of my cupcakes,

listening to Ethan as he explained his Lego characters to me,

having a bedtime story with him,

going to water parks,

the boys' cute drying towels,

and ending the week with mango bubble tea!
(One of the best bubble tea I've ever tried!!!)

Thanks for another fun and memorable week Linda and Charlie!!!
