Four years ago, I was hovering over the glass case at the Juicy Couture store. My mom saw me admiring their charms, which gave her the idea to get me a starter charm bracelet for Christmas that year! I remember how it sat under the tree and I would open and close the box over and over again because I couldn't hold in my excitement!!! My mom told me that I could start wearing it instead of waiting until Christmas was over ...but I just couldn't! I didn't want to scratch the heart charm that came with it because I thought it was going to be my one and only charm!

When we finally opened our presents, I already knew what I was getting from my mom but I had no idea what I was getting from my sister - my first charm!!!! She saw how excited I was and from then on, she decided that every year she will get me a new charm (that represents me!) for my birthday! So in the last four years, I received a cupcake (for my love for baking), a running shoe (for my love for jogging), a fish (for my love for my fish that died after one month) and this year...

I cannot get over the little details, like how the wheels and pedals can turn! Too cute!!!

I have very happy news to share today!!! After a lot of nagging and encouragement from my friends and family, I FINALLY GOT MY G1 TODAY! I've been loafting for so long because I just didn't find the need to get one! I understand that it's important to have an ID and the perks of having one is being able to supply myself with alcohol when I turn 19! Thing is, I wasn't really an avid drinker to begin with!!!

Regardless, I'm happy I finally got it over with and to celebrate my "achievement," mama bought me a hotdog from Costco and drove me to get my eyebrows done! Woo hoo!! It's weird but... I think my life feels more put together now with clean eyebrows!!! HAhahahehehehe

Ripley's Aquarium

I've been told that since I enjoy taking photos, I would really have a great time visiting...

Ripley's Aquarium!!!!! I was surprised that it was super packed on New Years but I realized it's the only thing that was opened! The line up was super long to get in (I suggest pre-ording online!!!) but that's okay. Nancy and I were able to catch up on each other's lives while we waited and by the time we knew it, it was our turn to pay!

The place was actually super big, like just when we thought we were about done... we realized we were only halfway through! It was definitely worth the money!

I'm so happy that I went with my cousins who have so much patience! They didn't care at all that I would wander off and snap like crazy since they were just as intrigued! Thing is, I had to snap like crazy because I couldn't keep up with the swimming fishes!!!

It was actually pretty difficult trying to take a photo in front of the glass with the fishes because we always ended up looking super dark!!! Hahaha

I think most of the knowledge we had of fishes comes from the movie, Finding Nemo!! Hahaha

My favourite creature to see was the definitely the sting rays because it always looked like it was smiling down at us!!!

There was no better way to kick off 2014!!! Now I seriously can't wait to see what this year holds!
