My parents bought me a cactus in the summer because they thought I couldn't handle taking care of a flower and they're right!!! My cactus is officially dead and it didn't even live for one year! I forgot to water it for one week and it died on me, life's not fair. My parents kept saying, "That's what you get for missing one week!" Let's just say that it died because it can't survive in this weather! :-)
