Vancouver (Part 3)

In my last blog post, I mentioned that Daniel and I weren't able to have breakfast at Jam Cafe because we wanted to catch the early shuttle bus to Capilano. So the next day, we were really determined to have breakfast there!!!!! 😄

We woke up early, packed our belongings, cleaned up our Airbnb and made our way to breakfast. There was still a line up at the door, but it moved pretty fast. Daniel ordered their signature chicken and waffles, while I had their veggie bowl. He devoured his plate and couldn't stop raving about how good it was! Meanwhile, I barely made a dent in my bowl because it was just so dense and flavourful. We were so surprised at how quick their service was, given that it was a full house in there!

After dining at this place, I can definitely see what the hype is all about!! Generous portions, genuine staff and quick service! We went back to our penthouse to grab our belongings since our checkout time was at noon. Before heading to the airport, we stopped by Soft Peaks for a last minute treat!

We took the skytrain, basically the subway, to the airport. I thought it was so cool how most of the ride was outside and you could see the route from the window! It literally felt like we were on a rollercoaster at one point!!! 😄

Before I end this post, I just want to say a big BIG THANK YOU to Steph and Matt for covering our trip and to Daniel's friends for all their sweet recommendations! Although it was a short trip, we both had an amazinggg time here!! ☺️
