Since my course load is basically cut in half next semester (I had somehow taken more courses for my first semester compared to the second), I was planning to...
apply for another part-time job with all that free time!! I was considering of applying to Kumon since it's ideal if I'm planning to become an elementary teacher but then I realized...
if I wanted to gain some real hands-on teaching experience, it would probably be best to volunteer in a classroom! This gave me the idea of going back to my co-op placement I did in grade 11!!!
I surprised my co-op teacher, Lijana and various staff members this morning and their reactions were priceless and so welcoming!! When I assisted my co-op teacher in grade 11, she was teaching grade ones and now she's teaching Kindergarten! She told me that she actually needed extra hands and we planned out the days I could come in to help her out. I'm so thankful for this oppourtunity again and I'm actually so excited!!!!
I spotted the drawing that I made for her two years ago! I can't believe she still kept and hung it up! Hahaha
She introduced me to the class and after an hour or so, they were already touching my hair, holding my hands, hugging me, asking me to peel a clementine, asking for a photo to be taken, asking me to put on their snow pants and...
purposely untying their shoes for me to tie for them!!!
