Hi friends!!! This post is well overdue, because yo gurl got hit with a nasty cough and has been working a lot of overtime! I didn’t want to infect any of my friends, so I’ve been laying low and sleeping a lot!

I started feeling a lot better towards the end of last week, and wanted to get out of the house, so Daniel and I checked out Winter Stations at Woodbine beach this past weekend. We went last year, and had so much fun that we decided to make it our annual tradition! It was freeezzzing last time, so we tried to prepare better this time around. Surprisingly, it wasn’t even that bad. Woot woot! :)

After creating so many art installations during my undergrad, I’ve definitely gained more respect for artists and understand how much time it could possibly take to think of an innovative idea and find the manpower to execute it.

I was particularly excited to see this art piece, which is like a human-sized version of whack-a-mole! Although it wasn’t cold, it was super windy. My hair was looking like medusa and kept poking Daniel in the eye! Oops! LOL

Just when we were about to leave, I noticed this thing on the tree stump!!! I thought it was a strange coincidence and hilarious that we bumped into this, because I’ve developed a serious checkers addiction these past few months. Daniel and I have been playing it every time we saw each other these last five months! It felt like the universe was watching us, and even blessed us with rocks too! HAHA

We went for tacos and sushi - both of our favourite things - at The Haam after! We balled out and ordered their signature Lobster Grande rolls, and those really hit the spot! Our homemade Old El Paso tacos look so weak, compared to their soft shell crab tacos!

That last photo was literally my mood when Daniel said dinner was on him.. :)
