Hello my little cin.. namon BUNS! I know I haven’t blogged in a while. I just didn’t want to act like everything was normal during these unprecedented times. The more time I spent online—like reading about the coronavirus or seeing my friends being productive—the more overwhelmed I felt. That’s when I knew I had to think about what my body, mind and soul needed. For me, catching up on sleep, drinking more water, working out, organizing my room, having virtual dates with Daniel and baking banana cake helps me stay sane.

My niece be actin' like it's her birthday! LOL

In terms of my situation, I’m working from home, my parents are off and we're caring for my two-year-old niece since my sister and brother-in-law work in essential services. It was nice that we were still able to celebrate my dad’s birthday yesterday and order him a cake from The Cheesecake Factory!

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I think this could be the universe’s weird way of reminding us to slow down and appreciate what we have. I realized what a privilege it is to be able to work from home, have running water to wash my hands for 20 seconds, easily get food when I’m hungry, have unlimited internet for entertainment and live in a house where I can practice social distancing. I guess you can say, your girl became WOKE. I know I won’t be taking a lot of things for granted once we make it out of this.

I’m going to try my best to blog more often to hopefully bring a sense of normalcy and positivity to you guys! Social distancing can feel isolating, but that’s what social networking is for! Stay safe, be kind and wash yo HANDS!
