Mood Swings

Halloween is definitely looking a little different this year. Even though I won't be dressing up or handing out candy, my cousin and I thought it would be fun to carve pumpkins together!

She decided to do her favourite emoji, while I did this cute idea I found through Instagram hashtags. We thought it was hilarious how well they complemented each other. My pumpkin looks like it's getting ready to go to the club, while my cousin's pumpkin looks like it's dodging boys at the club. 

To re-create her pumpkin, you can print off this stencil I made! Just cut out the black areas in the paper and trace it onto your pumpkin before carving. As for mine, I used glow-in-the-dark face paint for the mask (but it didn't glow so well), fake lashes, eyeshadow glitter for the lips and a hand towel.

I think it's safe to say that my parents love my masterpiece, because I currently see my pumpkin sitting on our porch. ;)
