Congratulations, Andrea & Wes!

And just like that, one month flew by since the last time I've blogged.. ahhh!! Besides work, here's a quick update on what I've been up to these past few weeks!

WHAT I DID

I've been spending a lot of time with my one year old niece! I aim to see her at least twice a week. With my new summer work schedule, I now get to spend more time with her on Fridays! She is saying more words, loves eating pocky and always mocks my squeals. LOL



I've been making time for my friends. I try to catch up with one to two friends every week. Now that I'm done school, I realize that friendships really take effort to thrive outside of physical proximity.

I've been playing a lot of video games with Daniel. I remind him to bring his Nintendo Switch over every week and we would spend countless hours at Chatime trying to finish at least four levels on Overcooked.



I celebrated my one year work anniversary! I still can't believe I play and work in social media.

I built a water table with my sister. Now that it's getting warmer, my mom thought it would be a great idea to get my niece a water table. Who knew that this water table would come with outdated instructions... which resulted in us sweating a lot, swearing a lot, and wasting a lot of time.



I bought boujee white sneakers. I've been eyeing Common Projects sneakers for a while now, and decided to bite the bullet when Holts was having a private sale. I'm so happy with them, but man oh man, they still hurt after the third wear.

WHAT I ATE

I ate a lot of middle eastern food. Rosa and I went to Parallel. Daniel and I went to Tabule Souk two weeks after. Rosa and I went to Fat Pasha the week after that. I just love falafel!!!

I went to a butter tart festival! I randomly got a Facebook notification the week leading up to it, and knew I had to check it out!

I can't get enough of butter squash ravioli. I haven't stopped thinking about it since I tried it at Scaddabush earlier this year. My friends and I usually avoid restaurant chains, but this is the one place that I've been frequenting at.

WHAT I SAW

My friends, Andrea and Wes, got married! The ceremony was perfect, the weather was perfect and their relationship is so perfect. I can't believe I'm reaching that age where I'm attending my friends' weddings! Sooo exciting!!!

My friends, Alpha and Dillon, held their first wedding celebration! You know you have a lotttta friends when you gotta throw more than one wedding!

I finally reunited with my friend, Jen! We had to reschedule twice because I caught conjunctivitis and she went to Spain. When we finally got to hang out, she told me all about her amazing trip and her new beau! It makes me so happy when my friends are living their best life!!

The Raptors won the NBA Championships! Daniel went to the parade and took unreal photos!
