I did not expect myself to spend my March Break the way I actually did...

In other words, I basically pictured myself bumming around all day, catching up on my TV series while eating and napping on the side - THE GOOD LIFE. :-)

My March Break didn't exactly go as planned after I agreed to help out one of my co-workers cover her shifts for this week! I only had Wednesday off and I did what I pictured myself doing in the beginning... and I found it strange... because I realized I did not have as much fun as I thought I would!

It actually felt like a day wasted... I mean... it's good to have it once in a while! Since I finished work at noon today, I had one of the two options... bum around again... or

SPEND TIME WITH MY BEST FRIEND! :-)

On the bus ride to Thiya's, my left leg kept twitching... maybe I was cold... or maybe it was indicating that something good was going to happen to me... :-)

It was actually my first time going to Thiya's house and her family was so warm and welcoming! I surprised her with my favourite banana cake... while she offered me everything to eat in her fridge!!! Hahaha

When I walked through the door, her sister and her were having a Connect 4 match and then she asked me if I wanted to play, which totally reminded me of the photo I saw on Tumblr the day before of Beyonce and Kanye West playing!!! Hahaha

She literally boosted my ego with every loss she had but I like to just think she wasn't trying her very best... :-)

She also showed me the little things I gave her that she had kept over the years... (Click here to read!) and the things I had taught her how to make!!! (Click here to learn!) :-)

Thiya had invited me to her place many times and she had always mentioned how she wanted to show me this trail near her house because she knew how much I like to explore! Luckily I remembered that and wore my worn out Uggs yesterday! :-)

Thiya and I both agreed that we were each other's companion most of March Break but we're not complaining at all...

well I hope she's not!!!

We followed this never-ending trail that led us to pass parks, lakes,

parks again...

until we hit my favourite spot under a bridge! :-)

I told Thiya to think of an "OG" name for us and the best she came up with was our old email addresses! Hahaha

"CHUBBY CHEEKS + GANGSTA THIYA = GOONS 4EVA"

We went back to her place and she made her brother and I sandwiches! Have I mentioned how kind her family was!! Her younger brother Omer saw how much I enjoy taking photos, so he gave me two of his spare memory cards! Meanwhile, her youngest sister looked at me as more of a Connect 4 competition,

"Let's play Connect 4... and I promise you I will not let you win."
She was actually so serious.

Not to brag or anything but I sorta... maybe stripped her winning status after I beated her seven out of the nine games we played... Mwuahaha

I die at the above photo every time because Thiya only had one red piece left and she was literally doomed to let me win!!! Hahaha

I actually think the twitches I had in my left leg was foretelling all the lucky wins I would have yesterday... :-)

The day ended well with her showing me her favourite custard cake from this cute coffee shop!

You and your family were awesome hosts and thanks for having me Thiya!!! :-)

So glad I clicked on your comment that led me back to your blog, your posts' contents are info and image juicy so expect to be seeing some regular comments from me. You must see my new outfit post sporting Nicholas Ghesquiere for BALENCIAGA pieces from the good ol' days, it's architectural inspired with quirky textures. Do tell me what you think on the provoking pieces ;)
